Proteco M6 Pinion for Matrix – Replacement transmission component for sliding gate operators

The Proteco M6 Pinion for Matrix is a replacement component designed for the transmission system of Proteco Matrix industrial sliding gate operators.

It allows the original pinion to be replaced when it has worn, broken or deformed teeth, restoring the transfer of movement between the gearmotor and the gate rack.

Manufactured from steel and featuring M6 module teeth, it is designed to operate with a rack of the same module. Matrix operators use an M4 pinion as standard, while the M6 pinion is available as an option for correctly configured installations.

This product includes the M6 pinion only. The operator, rack, shaft key, screws and other accessories are not included.

The Proteco M6 Pinion for Matrix is the mechanical component responsible for transferring the gearmotor’s rotary movement to the rack installed on the sliding gate.

The pinion teeth engage with the rack, converting motor rotation into the linear movement required to open and close the gate.

It is suitable for replacing a pinion affected by excessive wear, broken teeth, deformation, poor alignment or mechanical stress.

Replacing only the pinion allows the gearmotor, control board and remaining components to be retained, provided they are operational and compatible.

Proteco Matrix industrial operators can use M4 or M6 steel pinions. The M4 version is fitted as standard, while the M6 pinion is available as an option and must be used with an M6 rack.
