The Somfy Emergency Battery provides backup power to a compatible operator, allowing opening and closing cycles to continue if mains electricity is interrupted.

It is particularly useful where the automatic gate or garage door is the only access point to the property or building.

With a nominal voltage of 9.6V, the battery is automatically recharged by the compatible operator. Depending on the operator and installation, it can provide up to approximately 10 opening/closing cycles over 24 hours.

A full recharge takes approximately 48 hours.

IMPORTANT: compatibility must be confirmed with the installed Somfy operator and its dedicated backup-battery connection.
