The Motorline MR17 is a single-channel radio receiver designed to remotely operate gate automation systems and other compatible electrical or electronic equipment. Its normally open relay output sends a control pulse to the electronic control board, making it a practical solution for adding or replacing the radio reception system of an automation.

Operating at 433.92 MHz, the MR17 supports both 12 Bit and Rolling Code technology and can store up to 500 transmitter codes. Its large memory capacity makes it suitable for residential installations and shared access points with multiple users, including apartment buildings, businesses and car parks.

The receiver can operate in monostable or bistable mode. In the factory-set monostable mode, the output is activated for approximately one second whenever a stored remote-control button is pressed. In bistable mode, the relay changes state after every command, allowing the receiver to be adapted to different control requirements.

Its flexible 12–24 Vac/dc power supply facilitates integration with a wide range of automation control boards. The MR17 also features an antenna connection, programming LED, memorisation button and a relay output rated at up to 30 Vdc/1 A.

The operating range can reach between 50 and 100 metres in open space, depending on local radio conditions, metal structures and antenna positioning. With an IP42 protection rating, the receiver should be fitted in a location protected from rain, direct moisture and adverse weather conditions.
